Mariners (ages 14 – 18)   New Member Sign-Up

Applicants are accepted during the first 3 weeks of the season, usually late September for the fall session and early March for the spring session. Orientation meetings for parents and youth are typically held early each season to explain the program and tour the facility. Deadline to register is at the 4th Wednesday meeting of the season. All meetings are held at the Sea Base (OC Sailing and Events Center) (map) and start at 6:00 p.m.  Refer to Mariners Calendar for specific dates & times.

To sign up, please plan to attend one of our first 4 Wednesday meetings in September for fall season or March for spring season. Mariner Junior Program (youth ages 12-14)  New Member Sign-Up

Download the Mariner Junior sign up paperwork below. Review the Information Packet and retain it for your records. Complete and sign the Parent Permission Form and the Youth Emergency Information, Medical Release and Liability Waiver. Bring them to the Information Night meeting along with a check in the amount of $80 payable to the South Coast Sailing Team. Following the general information meeting we will break out for program specific meetings. Attend the Mariner Junior meeting. Meet the Mariner Junior instructors, ask questions about the program, tour the Sea Base and Mariner boats, submit your paperwork and fees to the program directors, and select your desired Mariner Junior course.
The deadline for signing up for the Mariner Junior Program is class meeting #1 of the season.
