The Spirit of Dana Point belongs to The Ocean Institute and they allow
Mariners use of the ship during the summer for the nine day Long Cruise
to the Channel Islands.
Mariners has a whole fleet of vessels for training and recreational
purposes including: 14 foot Laser (7), 14 foot Capri (2), 14 foot "420"
Colligate racing boats (2), a 17 foot Hunter performance daysailer, a
20 foot Santana racing boat, 35 - 38 foot yachts (4) and access to the
100 foot Tall Ship "Spirit of Dana Point." In addition we have kayaks,
rowing boats, outboard motor boats and motorized inflatable dinghys
that mount on our larger boat davits for going ashore at offshore
islands.
