Event: Election and Class 1
When: Feb 15 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Description: New season starts begins tonight with meeting at 6:30. Plan on being there between 6 & 6:45pm to complete registration (pay 0 Dues and evidence of completion of prev season class requirements*) Followed by Election Meeting for election of Boatswain and Boatswain Mates as well as self nomination for quarterdeck officer position. Note: Very important! No one can attend the meeting, run for office or vote unless dues are paid and class work is completed.

Event: Information Meeting
When: Feb 22 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm
Description: New and prospective members and parents are invited to attend an informational meeting beginning at 6:30pm to learn more about the Mariners Sea Scout program. Youth ages 14-18 may join Mariners and kids 12-13 are welcome to join Mariners Junior.
Learn about our weekly sailing program, Catalina cruises, racing opportunities, crewing aboard the 118′ Tall Ship “Spirit of Dana Point”, State Championships and about weekend competitions. All of this and more is offered from February – May as part of the Mariners Spring season. Informational meeting will include an overview of program, short slide show and a tour of our Sea Base followed by light refreshments. Meeting should last about an hour.
